hey there

I spent most of my childhood drawing in my art books and capturing the mundane life of a late 70s child behind the lens of my mom’s Canon AE-1. As I grew up, I always had a camera by my side. In college, you could always find me camped out in one of the two film labs on campus. It was in college that I started shooting weddings for friends - they paid for the cost of my film and I got a free meal (starving college students are real). Just before graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Photography, I had booked enough weddings that it allowed me to pursue my professional career in the world of wedding and portrait photography.

20+ years later, I still find so much joy in photography. I credit my connection to my clients for keeping me passionate about my craft. My favorite thing is knowing that we worked on something amazing together, either for a personal project or in business. I love watching my clients grow, personally and professionally. My sessions are pure collaborations, where we work together to capture the imagery that helps tell your story!

Behind the lens and in real life, I am a mother to an adventurous boy and a wife to an educator and ocean lifeguard. With East Coast roots, hailing from Long Island, New York, I am now living life as a true, Southern California girl. Let’s cut straight to the chase, I am living the cliche where the East Coast girl meets the West Coast boy and marries her version of David Hasselhoff (Baywatch fans, you understand). I'm what people would consider a lover of yoga and outdoor adventures, a minimalist, living a joyful yet simple life, and raising a kind human. Peace and love, friends.

Send me a note!

THANK YOU for visiting my website and taking an interest in my work. I'd love to hear about your inspiration for your photoshoot or creative project. Be as detailed as possible, so we can start a discussion on how to create your story. I'd love to work with you. - Eva
