washington dc wedding: terry and chris

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of flying out to Washington DC for Terry and Chris’ Labor Day weekend wedding.  In the beginning of the planning process together, Terry had excitedly described her wedding as vintage, Anthropologie-inspired.  For all of you out there that know me, they can all tell you that my heart skips a beat at the name of the store and that Terry & Chris had me at Anthropologie.  This wedding was going to be amazing and something that I couldn’t wait to photograph.

Terry and Chris did not disappoint with their theme, from the historical venue with the beautiful backyard garden to the lace wedding dress that Terry chose all the way down to the 100-something different pieces of china that adorned their tables, that they searched long and far for.  It was an amazing day, shared with amazing family and friends.  They all gathered together in the East Coast heat and humidity and partied until the doors of the venue closed.  Terry and Chris – thank you SO much for choosing me to share your day with.  May you love each other more and more, everyday, for the rest of your lives.  Bliss!!
