Thankful. I am thankful for friends and family who support my love of photography. I am blessed and even more thankful to be able to do what I do and love what I do. I am very thankful for the fact that the people in my life invite me to share a piece of their lives, from getting married to being married and then to their first born baby and it goes on from there. It is so amazing to see a relationship grow and eventually expand into a family.
So, here it begins for Leo and Kurt. They are friends of our family and we are so happy that they have decided to take on an amazing adventure together. We have seen them grow together and are so excited to see them get married later on this year. I received a call from Kurt a few months back, asking if I would take their engagement photos. “Heck yeah, I would LOVE to put you guys in front of my lens, that would be so much fun!”
And then minutes later, the nerves set in (the nerves set in all the time, even if the clients weren’t friends or family…it’s just a slightly different type of nerves!). A true confession (or at least in my head, it’s what I think!): It’s always a bit more nerve-racking when you photograph friends and family…you just don’t want to disappoint and you hope that you do an amazing job and if you didn’t do an amazing job, would they tell you? Needless to say, the session was a lot of fun, filled with laughs and well, the photos turned out great!! See for yourselves…enjoy!
Congratulations to you guys, we look forward to celebrating with you in November. Cheers!
