What services do you offer?

Over the last 20 years, I've had some time to really figure out what calls to me in my photography. In general, I love to photography anything that has emotions (and a face, I guess you can say) because what I love most about what I do is the connection. While I photograph everyday life, I strive to really capture feelings - whether they are outwardly vocalized or just simply through gaze or touch. With that said, I find pure joy in photographing families, children, school seniors, and lifestyle, just to name a few.

Where are you based out of? do you ever travel to shoot your sessions?

I’m in Huntington Beach, California and yes, I do travel to shoot some of my sessions! With travel, comes a possible travel fee, so let me know where you want to go and we can figure it out!

Do you still photograph weddings?

I have had the pleasure of photographing weddings all over the U.S. for 15 years and loved every minute of it. In 2013, I decided to switch gears and start a family. While attempting to balance motherhood and wedding photography, I realized I couldn't devote the same amount of attention to both of my greatest loves. So, I stepped away from photographing large-scale weddings. The good news? I am currently open to capturing smaller, intimate weddings aka "micro weddings", and elopements!

Where do your sessions take place?

Most sessions take place within Orange County, at a mutually agreed upon location. If you need a recommendation for some sweet places, I’ve got a few faves. Sessions located outside of Orange County may come with a travel fee. Please note that sessions taking place on state- or city-owned property, and privately owned locations, may require a permit fee. If you'd like a session at one of these locations, please schedule your session accordingly as some permit processes take some time to complete.

What do your sessions include?

Sessions include shoot time, a personal online gallery to view, share and purchase prints and digital files, a planning consultation via phone/email/FaceTime, and post-session print planning consultation if you choose to have prints made.

What are your session rates?

Sessions start at $250, depending on the type of session you choose. On average, a portrait session client tends to spend around $600 and up. Birthday parties and milestone events begin at $650 and up. To keep things simple, elopements and intimate weddings are photographed at an hourly rate. Does your session fee include images?

Sessions do not include digital image files and/or prints however, you can purchase a variety of digital and/or print items within your personal online gallery. Digital images and digital collections are designed as ala carte products so that they meet the various price points of every client! Each digital image you purchase is hand-edited by me! A print release is included with the purchase of digital images and collections.

Do you give RAW unedited images?

I do not give RAW unedited images, as I believe final editing is what brings the photo to life! And with that editing comes my photography style, which as an artist, is quite important to me - it is my signature and what I am known for. What you’ll get are beautifully edited images as you see on my website and social media feeds.

When is the best time to schedule my session?

I typically shoot either early morning or late afternoon for optimal lighting (aka sunrise or sunset). With that said, depending on your session location, we could potentially shoot any time of the day. Being a mom, I understand that we want our kiddos to be at their best so whatever time that is, we will make it happen!

What is your booking process?

My booking process is pretty simple and straightforward, all via email. Before you know it, all you have to do is smile and look pretty! Once a date and location are agreed upon, a contract will be sent out detailing my terms and conditions, followed immediately by an invoice for full payment. Once payment is received, a model release will be emailed over for the final signature. Then we’re all set!

What do we wear for photos?

I am a firm believer that you should do YOU when you plan out your photo session! I am a big fan of the non-matching outfits because I believe that we’re all unique and your photos should represent that! Keep it simple and comfortable, and make sure you feel amazing in what you’re wearing. If you need inspiration, you can always go through my website and social media feeds to see what my hip and happening clients are wearing! Feel free to send me photos if you need some advice, I’m here for ya!

What if we need to cancel/reschedule our session?

I totally understand needing to cancel or reschedule a (and adults) get sick at the most random times!! And living in Southern California, you never know if it’s truly going to rain when the news tells us it’s going to rain. Since session payment is non-refundable, I am always willing to reschedule for a new date if time allows or credit you the amount of the session for a future session. If your session includes a permit fee, that fee may have to be paid again, as some agencies do not allow for permit cancellation or rescheduling.

What if there’s bad weather?

I love all the weather but can understand that sometimes the weather plays a big role in how we’re going to feel during the session. The only times we would reschedule for bad weather would be if there were high winds, torrential rain, or snow (but not really in Southern CA), as these types of weather systems can cause damage and/or harm!

What is your turnaround time?

Depending on the season, the typical turnaround time on a session is about two weeks or less. An email will be sent out with the access information to your private gallery.

Can you photoshop us?

While I believe that you are beautiful just the way you are, I get it, I truly do! I lightly edit my images before sending them to you...from blemishes, bruises, random hair in the air, etc. You know what I mean. If it’s anything that requires extensive retouching, I’ve got you. Additional fees may apply but don’t worry, I’ll let you know if they do.

Do you offer discounts?

No, however, I do offer holiday sessions in Fall and occasional promotions throughout the year. If you’d like to make sure you are in the know when these sessions are released, subscribe to the VIP email list and you’ll get first dibs to secure your session!

are you licensed and insured?

Yes, I have been licensed and insured to do business since 2000! In most cases where a permit is needed (private property, business, etc), a current business license and up-to-date business insurance are required for the application process.
