“I began to realize how important it was to be an enthusiast in life. If you are interested in something, no matter what it is, go at it full speed. Embrace it with both arms, hug it, love it and above all become passionate about it. Lukewarm is no good.” – Ronald Dahl
Aside from being passionate about photography, I am also equally passionate about my family. These two humans make it all happen for me – they are a huge part of my village…my tribe. They are the driving force behind my business and without them, I wouldn’t be able to continue pursuing this dream of mine.
The recent addition to my photography crew, my son, has spent countless hours standing in front of my lens, just so that I can test my lighting or just try something new. He tolerates it (for now) and I’ll be sad when he won’t want to help do it anymore. Fingers crossed that he’ll find the entertainment value in it and continue doing it forever.
This husband of mine has been by my side for every up and every down of my business, from the beginning! He has seen it all. He is my ear for bouncing off ideas, he is my roadie, my personal assistant, and my voice of reason – he also is the voice that reminds me to hydrate and to eat something before and after every shoot.
The best part about these two being a part of my business? I get awesome images like these to look back on and laugh about – I’m just glad they can work together.
